Login to Your cPanel Account
Sign In to Hostgator Portal using the email and password you entered. You need to login to the cPanel to install WordPress on your website. Click on the Launch cPanel button to launch and log in to the cPanel.
If you already registered your domain with another provider you need to change the Nameservers to Hostgator’s nameservers. You can find the Hostgator’s nameservers on the right column in cPanel under GENERAL INFORMATION. Contact your domain name provider to find out how you can change the nameservers on your domain.
Access WordPress Installer
While you are on the cPanel, go ahead and click on WordPress Installer under POPULAR LINKS.
On the next page click on the Install Now button.
Select your domain name, enter the site name and description on the next page.
Enter the admin username and password and leave the language as English.
Select the plugins you want to install together, Don’t worry you can install or change them later.

When the installation is completed you will see a page with a link to visit your website and a link to login to your website’s WordPress dashboard. Click on the administrative URL to log in to your WordPress dashboard.
You can log in to your WordPress dashboard anytime by typing wp-admin at the end of your website URL and entering your admin username and password that you have entered when you install the WordPress.
